Also known as a No Objection Certificate, it is a permit which is mandatory for any pet import or export. An NOC for pet import is one of the most important documents in the process.

Quarantine Certificate

A pet import certificate stating your animal has received the mandatory vaccinations is required before any movement.

A pet import certificate, which is obtained from a registered vet. The vet signs and stamps this certificate after a health check-up.

All pets being imported to or exported from India must be Microchipped. India uses the standard ISO 11784/ISO 11785 microchip.

Immunizations

Basic and Mandatory Vaccinations

Before entering India, your pet must be vaccinated against certain diseases. This is done to prevent the transmission of potentially infectious zoonotic diseases from animal to animal/animal to person. Remember to get your pet vaccinated according to the timeline of your journey, as some vaccinations may require to be tested for (Ex: some countries have a cool off period of 30 days at animal quarantine, which can affect your itinerary).
